SHV Kids

SHV Kids is equipping children to authentically follow Jesus so that they will be transformed their whole life long.  At SHV, children are safe, taught at an age appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus. Kids are exposed to God through activities, drama, and discussions in a unique and fun learning environment.

SHV Kids is back in person! If you’d like your children to attend an SHV Kids class on Saturdays, register for service here. SHV is meeting on Saturday evenings at 5p at the Porch Church (19401 E Chenango Rd). Bring your kids to the SHV Kids check at the back of the lobby, drop them off at their classroom, then head to the Sanctuary for worship! We can’t wait to see you!

For our SHV@Home families, we have provided a digital space where your kids can encounter Jesus. It’s our prayer that God uses SHV to grow everyone in your family closer to Him! You can find videos for your kids on the SHV Kids YouTube channel. There’s a short time of worship, a lesson from an SHV teacher, and a video from our curriculum to help kids engage with Jesus.

SHV is happy to come alongside parents as they dedicate their children to the Lord. Dedication of children is based on the models of Samuel in the Old Testament (1 Samuel 1:21-29) and Jesus in the New Testament (Luke 2:21-24). The next dedication service is TBA.
