Moving Locations

Smoky Hill Vineyard is moving locations! We recently announced the sale of our building to Heritage Heights Academy, the school that’s been leasing our building for the last several years. We’re excited to announce that for the next chapter of SHV, we’ll be meeting on Saturday nights at 5p in the Porch Church building at 19401 E Chenango Dr. Join us as we adventure into this new season of SHV!

• What’s going on with SHV’s building, why are we selling?
  SHV is selling our current facility to Heritage Heights Academy, who has been leasing from us for several years now. This option, which the SHV board has been prayerfully exploring for several years, will free us from the mortgage and significant capital improvements necessary to update this property.
• Is the church shutting down?
  Absolutely not! We are locking in on a permanent location for our church offices, community center, and Hope Starts Here Food Bank. For in-person weekend services, we are partnering with another local church to host us on Saturday evenings @ 5p. Online streaming services will continue to be available Sunday mornings @ 9a on Facebook, YouTube, and SHV@Home.
• When do the changes happen?
  Our services @ 20050 E. Smoky Hill Rd will wrap up May 23rd, 2021 @ 9a. That morning, we will celebrate our history, pray over the school, and begin our next chapter. Then beginning Saturday, June 5th, services will switch to 5p on Saturday evenings at the Porch Church.
• So, SHV isn’t closing?
  No, and neither is our mission changing! We will continue throwing out the net, equipping disciples, building bridges in our multi-ethnic community, and caring for the poor. All of SHV’s vital ministries will come with us.
• What about the Hope Starts Here Food Bank?
  Details are forthcoming for our updated location and summer dates for HSH. Stay tuned to www.hshfoodbank.org for up to date information.
• Will weekend services be at the Porch location forever?
  Our plan is to continue sowing our roots in this Smoky Hill area and make the most prudent decision for where SHV permanently lands. The Porch is a temporary solution while we lock down our future site!
